ORANGES AND PINKS OF FALL

NOVEMBER 29, 2013 BY: SUSAN DEBOW

Well, today is Black Friday.  Many of us are off to the malls and shopping, as early as we can drag ourselves out of bed.

Fall is almost over.  Usually, I consider Black Friday the official end of the fall season, and the beginning of winter, although the technicalities may not agree… that is just my take on the matter.

In earlier posts, I showed you many of the photos we took this fall.  If you would like to see more of them, you can click on the links, below:

Today, I am showing you some of the last and my favorite colors of fall:

This particular Japanese Maple has so many different colors on it , and it also depends on the time of day that you look at it, and even which direction you are looking from.  I can’t imagine a prettier tree.  We are blessed to have it in our landscape.

It often looks like a sunset:

There is one other very special Japanese Maple we have.  You have seen some photos of it in other articles on Designs of Home.  This glorious Japanese Maple is green most of the year and cascades over a landscape timber wall.

This fall, it really put on quite an Orange and Pink show:

And here is a close-up photo of the oranges and pinks of it’s fall color:

So, I surely hope you enjoyed all the oranges and pinks of fall and I hope if you went shopping, today, you picked up all the great bargains that you were hoping to find.

Remember, though, this is only the day after Thanksgiving and please do not let the giving of thanks to God, end.

Thank him everyday for all that is good and great and wonderful in your day.

Thank Him for the big and the small.

In all things, give thanks.

I am thankful for the oranges and pinks of fall.

I am thankful for sales, because it makes some things more affordable.

What are you thankful for, today?

♥♥♥  Susan

Beautiful!! So nice to see the colors one more time as they’ve left my area already. It lasts for such a short time. Hope your Thanksgiving was lovely.
